Impact Investing Challenge

The Impact Investing Challenge is IFC’s flagship competition for graduate students looking to showcase their analytical skills, as well as their innovation acumen, in the rapidly growing field of impact investing. This competition provides an opportunity for students to compete and collaborate with each other, while learning more about IFC and the development finance space.

Each year over 150 students from around the world share their creative impact investing ideas. Through multiple rounds of challenges, all proposals are assessed on a set of four judging criteria, including innovativeness, development impact potential, implementation feasibility, and proposal presentation, and in the end one team is selected as the winner.

The Competition is open to all students currently enrolled in a graduate (Master’s/PhD) program at a college/university. Each team is expected to form a team of 4 members from the same academic institution.
